St Mary the Virgin church, Stone in OxneyThis pilgrim's church stands as a Christian beacon beside the Saxon Shore Way. The south porch commands stunning views across Romney Marsh whilst the north-east Chapel looks out over the charming village of Stone in Oxney. Open during the hours of daylight, the serene interior invites the pilgrim to enter, be still and know God.

The friendly congregation is always pleased to receive visitors to the Sunday services: 1st. Sunday in the month: Evensong at 6.00pm. 2nd. Sunday in the month: Holy Communion at 9.00am. 3rd. Sunday in the month: Morning Worship 9.00am 4th. Sunday in the month: Holy Communion at 9.00am.

Stone is in a parish "cluster" with Appledore, Ebony, Wittersham and Woodchurch; on the fifth Sunday in the month joint cluster services are held and service times may vary so please check with the priest in charge for information.

However, other services are held for special occasions, full details of which can be found in the magazine or on the church noticeboards.

The choir is always pleased to welcome new members and there is an active team of enthusiastic bell ringers.
