 St Mary's church, Orlestone

Hamstreet village, in the heart of Orlestone parish, is where most of the population lives, although the ancient parish boundary means that part of the village falls within Warehorne parish.

The parish church of St Mary's is located at Orlestone, the original site of the village and overlooks the village of Hamstreet from its position at the top of the hill.

A service of Holy Communion is held on the second Sunday of each month at 8.30am and a Choral Evensong at 3pm when there is a fifth Sunday in the month.

There is a very busy group of 'Friends' who organise various events during the year including a Flower Festival in July.
