The church and the pub (the Shepherd and Crook) lie at the heart of the small village of Burmarsh. All Saints church dates from the 12th Century.
Extensive repairs carried out with the help of English Heritage as well as local fund-raising has ensured that it is presently in good order.
Now the attention of the village is focussed on the Church Hall, also an important part of village life.
